We are a nation of immigrants it's true, some of us have families that go back farther than others. If you are born here you can consider yourself native I guess. Trump supporters want to make an exception for first generation Mexicans calling them anchor babies. One of the first chants you will hear at a Trump rally is "build a wall". They have some real problems with Mexican people and that is who they mean when the say illegal immigrant. I guess they are taking all the low paying jobs away from trailer park people or something.
And you asked who these Trump supporters are. That's primarily who they are, uneducated, racist, easily manipulated people. People that call Bernie a communist. They clearly don't know the difference between Communist and Socialist not to mention Democratic Socialist and Socialist. These are scary words that they aren't smart enough to understand but they have smart guys in their corner such as Trump and Rush Limbaugh who explain it to them in words they can understand. And as far as the debt, it's a tool for the Republicans to use against progressives but the funny thing as that none of them have ever reduced it. They also raise taxes as well. It doesn't matter what they do in reality as long as they have their talking points out there most wont dig much farther into it. The Trump supporter is not an easy one to figure out, this is the best I can do to explain it.

In addition, Rush seems to have the pulse of all thing right wing and seems to be able to break down why people are supporting the umpa lumpa.

A lot of people want to stop illegal immigration. That's not big news. It's ironic how the left claims Trump supporters are full of hate and are ugly, yet I'm seeing more and more post belittling those people for making a choice that they have.
Hillary is a criminal. Bernie is a freaking communist. Yet everyone is angry at Trump because he wants border security.
Trump's border security plan is a joke. Most of the border already has a wall and people just dug tunnels under it.
But don't worry, there are other reasons to hate Trump. He says Mexicans are all rapists and criminals, but most of the staff at Trump Hotels are Mexican immigrants because you can get away with paying them less. Same to the slaughterhouses that produce Trump steaks. If we want people to stop crossing the border we should be going after the root of the problem, which is there are so many industries, like hospitality and agriculture, that are happy to hire them for sub-standard wages. If there were no jobs, they would stop coming.
I remind you that Bernie wants that, what is in Europe, more freedom, more jobs, more democracy, free education, free healthcare.
If Bernie is communist, so are all Scandinavia countries.

I´m an American citizen, I´m not an immigrant and wasn´t even born in the US, I was born in Mexico, lived most of my life in Mexico and I consider myself to be a "native", hell, I´m more American than many "Americans", I´ve been to more America than most "Americans"
Real Americans are those whose families have gained American citizenship before LBJ dropped the ball on immigration and let everyone in, in the mid-60's.
Don't get me started on the American Indians are the real Americans crap.....they were immigrants at one time and they were beaten for territory as in any war in any country. They weren't present at the Declaration of Independence, they aren't the exclusive true Americans.
I'm a "real" American, father's side goes back a couple hundred years with British roots, mothers family came over to Ellis Island from Germany early 1900's, my father served 23 years U.S. Air Force and I served 4. Both my Grandfather's and Great Uncle fought as Americans in WW2.
Most all countries people's are immigrants if you want to get down to it, they all started from Africa. If you guys say there's no such thing as real Americans or its confined to American indians, then there are no Canadians, Mexicans, Australians, south Americans, or just about anywhere.

What a strange thing to focus on though. You have the Syran civil war with +300,000 dead and various other African conflicts with thousands of victims. You have China oppressing the entire Tibetean population. You have Ethiopia and Eritrea killing minorities left and right, not to mention Zimbabwe.

That's kinda my whole issue with Trump supporters! Most people here in the U.S only know the romanticize version of our history.

No, we are not all immigrants. I was born here, pretty much everyone I know was born here. Please stop using this argument, for the love of God, it is getting tiresome.
I'm pretty liberal but this regressive-liberal "All Americans are immigrants [except for American Indians]" is just lame. It's like saying 4 = 2 because 2 + 2 = 4...4's are made of 2's, so obviously 4 is 2... WTF? It doesn't matter where you came from, or who's land this was, because now it is American soil. Maybe in the Mexican-American War of 2124 when the great superpower known as Mexico overtakes the rest of the US and Americans will be immigrants then, but until that time, I am not an immigrant. The "All Americans are Immigrants" argument is a philosophical argument with no real practical, legal, or other merit.
Anyway, the ethnic, racial, religious, and national diversity of the US (the "melting pot" as they say) is something to be celebrated and enjoyed; I refuse to view it as a cudgel to be held over my or anyone else's head. As for the actual immigrants (as a Californian, I will just say Hispanics), so far they are a non-issue for me: I've worked with them side by side for over a decade, they're great to work with, and I enjoy their company. For the most part they contribute to this country as much as any other person that lives here, legal or illegal.
