Sparta is what you get when you take the awsome alt-punk band At The Drive-In and cut them in half... Leaving you with an experimental part (Mars Volta) and a suprisingly catchy pop-rock outfit (Sparta). Thier First cd called Wiretap Scars is without a doubt the shining moment so far in thier career. The whole album is coated with great and memorable tunes, all of them full of the old explosive ATDI energy.
