The Quest is one of the few Van Damme movies that is actually a great movie - and not in a post-modern so-bad-it's-good sort of way. It's a basic story, sure, and there's not much character development or depth, but for what it is, it's a fantastic little gem of a movie. Maybe it's just because the first time I saw it I was still slamming quarters into a Street Fighter II machine and taking the names of all the locals, but I loved the premise and the various characters. Good stuff.
Now.... you want cheesy Van Damme greatness? You can't beat Lionheart. Want proof? Just look at the last fighter's mutton chops.
