The most disgusting food you've ever eaten

Tell us: what's the ickiest, crappiest, most disgusting food you've ever eaten/tasted?

Mine:

I was in Belgium and they fed us balls of tuna and mayo with syrup peaches in the same dish (the tuna balls were soaked in the peaches syrup)!

Another day they served us a roll of unspecified meat with mashed potatoes and apple sauce on top.

That was so disgusting I threatened a cook and lived on bread and water for two weeks.

Squid. I thought it was an onion ring.

Tomatoes are nice. Especially on a ham and cheese sarny.

Vermicelli soup. We made it in home ec class. You fry spaghetti noodles so they taste "nutty" and then load a pot of water full of beef boullion and ONIONS. after which you just load it with cheese, so you have a sick, chunky, cheesy, crunchy mess of disgusting.

Made me gag thinking about it months AFTER i tried it.

Pig tails or pig feet. They're a basic dish in the danish kitchen, if you're from Jutland (the 'gnome' shaped island, also where Jylland's Posten is from, if you need to be reminded...:roll: ). It's very basic food, and I hate it. It's so gross. I don't think even Haggis can beat it!

My family and I once went to Bulgaria for a week on vacation, we lived in a not-so-tourist'y area, with **** food and lots of stray hounds (which made me sick to my stomach, but that's another story). We ate out most of our time down there, and we went to this restaurant one night where I ordered sqewered chicken, grilled, with some french fries on the side. We waited 40 minuttes for our dishes. When they finally came, my brother's lasagna was made of pancakes (wtf...) and chopped chicken, and my dish was nothing but fat and non-cooked chicken meat. Was disgusting.

When I was traveling through Malaysia by train, I tried all sorts of exotic cuisine. There was this one dish with a number of side dishes and sauces that went along with it. I tried this certain one and it was awful!

This is probably not how it was made, but imagine taking 5 whole fish, then grinding them into a gritty, fishy paste, then salt the **** out of it. That's what it tasted like.

Not only that, but I tried eating that with the other food on the plate to see if it was supposed to go with a certain food item on the dish, but it didn't. The disgusting flavor completely overpowered everything else on my plate. I really disliked it, but I kept my cool about it so I made sure I wouldn't offend anyone there. After reaching the conclusion that the gritty fish paste didn't go well with anything on my plate, I left it alone and just ate everything else except that.

I really disliked it, but I kept my cool about it so I made sure I wouldn't offend anyone there.

I was in Peru on a community service trip in High School and we hiked high into the Andes to help build adobe bathrooms for some villagers, and they cooked guinea pigs for us - with the nuts still attached. Surprisingly, most kids ate the testicles, except after one girl started screaming that it 'exploded in her mouth.'

I was a buffet when I was like seven and went up to get dessert. I got what I thought was vanilla pudding, sat down and ate a big spoonfull of it. Turns out, it was this nasty salad dressing. :? Dark_Knight6

Lamb brain was pretty good, even though it'll probably disgust most people.

I don't like it when people literally suck the marrow out of bones. I never tried it, so I can't comment on the taste, but I don't like the action.

I once had fish with orange squirted on it (instead of lemon). That was absolutely disgusting.

Unagi is AWESOME, but yeah eel isn't for everyone lol. I can't think of anything overly disgusting that I've eaten. I don't remember if I actually tried it or not, but pork blood is pretty nasty lol.
