This thread is about the film "The Great Budapest Hotel." I saw it today. It is elegant, raunchy, and humorous. It was nice to see a movie about one and a half hours long instead of nearly two hours for a change. The characters are charismatic and the theme of the story which seems to be about lifestyles of the past not dying, but fading with time and finally being preserved was ever present.
