Just thought it would be a interesting little topic just to see how long people have been around this place. Ive been coming here since around '03 i believe but i didnt make an account till probably '05 which isnt even the account i have now (this is my 2nd). But anyway, the way i found out about GS was kinda funny actually. When i was younger i used to just go to like ebgames.com and gameSTOP.com, but one day i accidently typed in gameSPOT and it came to this website and i was like WTF?? and just starting surfing around and liked it....
I found gamespot when i typed in for ps2 cheats on google this site came up. I was ages later when i joined. If u want to no when i join check my page. I expect that no 1 would care when i joined because i no i wouldn't but i thought i might as well say.

Back in '03 I was looking on Google for cheats, and one of the first links led me here. After a few months of repeated visits in which I began to exhaust the cheats and hints section for the games I owned, I made an account in early '04.
i was looking for info to a game so i google it and it brought right to this site. i brought a few games after reading some of the reviews and was disappointed. about a year later i finally went into the forums to get honest opinions on games. another 2 years i stumbled across this board by accident. about 4 years now and i'm still learning things about this site.
From GameFAQs a long time ago. I did not start posting on GS until after I was perma banned from GameFaqs for speaking my mind. Suprisingly I have not been banned here yet. And now that GameFAQs and Gamespot are owned by Cnet i can still post over there with this account.
Like many have said before, I was trying to find a walkthrough or cheat codes- don't really remember-it was about 2 years ago. I started reading the forums when I needed to find out some info about the ps3 when it was first coming out. I soon needed some questions answered, started posting, and then stumbled upon OT.
