Like the tittle says, say something interesting about the place or people you live in, it could be your country, state, city, street, family, whatever

it can be something historical, folklore, racial traits, accent, whathever

so... anyway here's one about my country:

According to folklore during the dark ages my country had 365 recipes for codfish, one for every day of the year

My country was founded by ninja looters.

Those indians totally got their lootz ninja'd HAHAHa

Ironic you sort of listed everything Souther California is to me (Im from Oakland, sort of, so we do have gangs)

We also have one of the highest GDPs (GNP? forgot which one signifies income/profit) in the world, I think we were like number ten, just behind Germany and Japan :D

Porn is awesome

Hollywood is entertaining

Gangs are everywhere, and theyre much more civil in Northern Cal (Where I'm from).

We also have skiing, desert dunes, beaches, lush forests, and awesome historic sites all withing six hours (at least from where I live).

The only thing California lacks is seasons.

Ha, no I actually live somewhere in the middle east, near Iraq and Saudi Arabia, in a country called Jordan.
