So my uncle just died. 2 years ago my dad died in (late)September and now my uncle dies this month as well. I'm not sure what's going on with September TBH.

Fairly good. I'm thinking some Baileys with dark belgium chocolate (instead of regular one) with some ice in it will be good now.

That doesn't too bad. Lately I've been drinking whiskey with green tea with ginseng and honey. Doesn't sound that great but it actually is lol. I won't be having any alcohol until later though. Water for the wife to pay some bills then I can run some errands and then I can relax and do some drinking and gaming. =)

Whisky with tea, ginseng and honey. That was a twist to me. I bought this bottle when I was visiting my brother last summer. Surprisingly good. I'm hoping the TV is free to use soon. I want to watch Lucifer.

Yeah, I used to mix with apple juice, then I tried some of my wife's Diet Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey expecting it to be nasty since it's 0 calorie and 0 sugar. Tasted pretty good, so I thought... "Well adding whiskey to it will only make it better..." and it did haha. Who is using your TV currently?

She loves crime shows. Yet falls asleep during them.

Yeah, some people are just like that. My wife and her dad can't watch anything without falling asleep. Her mom and I always get a good laugh out of it.

I don't get it. Why even watch TV if you know you will fall asleep?

@horgen: I've known a few people who treat watching TV at night as a "sleep aid" of sorts. I suppose it explains why TVs these days have sleep timers. And hey, it doesn't involve ingestion of chemicals.

Just started playing Cuphead. That game really is making me go rewatch "Who Frame Roger Rabbit" lol.

Although many reviewers see the visual style as a throwback to the early Disney days, seeing some of the screenshots from that game remind me of the witch environments from Madoka Magica for some reason.

Very Hard and Unforgiving for a platformer i heard :( I'll pass lol.

Screen time actually makes it harder to fall asleep. It's probably more likely that the people falling asleep are exhausted by the end of the day and keeping their attention on TV shows is just the final bit of activity that makes them fall asleep. Plus, sitting in comfy chairs in a warm environment will make you want to fall asleep. And the people using it as sleep aids? Probably lacking stimulation. They need some sort of activity to engage their brains in the evening, but don't have anything else like that in their routine (I'm especially thinking of people living on their own, as opposed to people who socialize in the evening). They fall asleep faster than they would if they just sat in a chair, but slower than if they read a book or had a conversation with someone (no judgement).

I honestly can't wait to get that game!

I heard it's the Dark Souls of run n gun games. If you can beat Dark Souls, you can beat this apparently.

I tried the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta on both X1 and PS4...this game might do well. Although I prefer playing this on PS4 than X1.

@theone86: Ironically, what you said is making me think of who I was referring to. I don't do that to fall asleep, though - the light would keep me up all night. Soft music does a much better job for me.
