Reading a book is way more interesting than watching a tv show. I love picturing the story in my head much more than letting the tv show decide it for me. So does anyone else here like reading a book more than watching a tv show ?

Depends on how I'm feeling at the time. I read alot, but there are times where I just don't want to read so I can just turn on the TV instead :)

Good fiction TV and movies are a much better entertainment experience that pulls you in more than books.

That said good TV is a scarce commodity these days. Mostly reality garbage.:(

Good books are always around though.

I do action, comedy, adventure, sci-fi, and some drama though not much. I'm doing a novel for a contest right now.

The only time I watch TV nowadays is for sports or while Im eating. Other then that Im either reading an internet article, a forum, a textbook for school, or a philosophy/sociology/erotic book on my kindle.

I read and watch TV. I mostly read books on WWII history now. I am currently reading Munich, 1938. It's about the British appeasement of Hitler So far, Chamberlin has done some dirty back room dealings with the Italians which caused the Foreign Office head to resign and Hitler is berating the Austrian leader just before invading Austria.

Depends on the show/book. I find reading to be more rewarding overall but generally the stylistics of visual entertainment appeal to me more.

Reading a book is much more rewarding. Watching tv and playing video games seems like a waste of time, but I do that much more than I read. I don't read hardly at all anymore...:(
