Rate my drawing: Halo Elite

It's me again with another "Rate my _____" thread!

Anyway, this is a sketch of a screenshot from Halo Reach, I intentionally leave the Spartan colourless.

Took me about 8 hours or more, while listening to mainstream pop.

EDIT: Many people are mistaken the energy blade as the energy sword. So here's a pic of an energy blade.

Well only there's only one artist that I like (infact a huge fan of) in mainstream pop gerne. I could possibly produce something equally good if I listen to heavy metal or old school rap.

The drawing's very nice, though you should've left it black and white.

You could say that about 90% of everything nerdy(video games, comics, movies, books, etc.)

8/10. You are a great artist but the elties arm and sword looks a little too small with the rest of his body.

I think it looks really good, but that just might be because I cant draw anything more complex than stick figures.

The drawing is cool dude, but the lighting of the picture is so off. You should work on things like that, it would give it far more depth and not so flat.

I'm not familiar with the monster/alien/robot shown, but something looks sort of weird. The creature's stance suggests that its left arm and left leg are farther away from me than its right arm and leg. Yet, its left arm and leg look BIGGER than the right appendages even though they ought to look SMALLER (if the left appendages were actually the same size as the right appendages).

This all gives the impression that the left half of the creature is a LOT bigger than the right side. Which just seems a little bit weird looking. If those are the actual proportions of the creature, then okay. But otherwise, fixing the bodily proportions should probably be done.
