I don't know ill ask him when i die though.123625
Just cause you're Christian doesn't mean God has time to waste talking to you about dinasaurs. So self absorbed, yeesh!

Not really though. Evolution=Idea, Christianity=Religion.... 2 different things but are usually combined to seem people are one or the other.[QUOTE="saywat11"][QUOTE="ExodusV2"]Umm just because your Christian doesn't mean you can't believe in Evolution.....

And you're the voice of all Christians?
Or are you simply reflecting something that has been taught to you and your church of less than 500 people?
I'm pretty sure the Westboro Baptist Church thinks they're carriers of a divine message. What makes them right or you wrong? Why doesn't that apply to other concepts?

Maybe if you believe in a deceptive designer.Just because he doesn't do things like you think He should doesn't mean there's a problem. Just means you're neither smart enough, nor deep enough to understand it. And that's fine. God is inexhaustable, so you shouldn't expect an answer to every question. It's not even important. If you learn the true God (thorough the blueprint of scripture), he will make Himself and his intentions known clearly.
Problem is, most people don't. Most are afraid to read. Most would rather try to figure things out on their own (and fail). Oh well.

Do you really want to know, or do you prefer to think you're right, proving a point that you're actually not proving?
This is the problem I see most of the time in these places; people think they know the answers to questions...when they clearly don't. And then pride gets in the way. Then failure ensues.

God didn't write the bible. He inspired it. And it's good for studying.
As for versions...go with the one through which we actually see God moving. The one translated from the original Greek.

Perhaps I was not clear: creationists have attempted for decades to create a scientific theory to combat evolution and have failed; all evidence indicates that we evolved from simpler life. Overarching piont here (without delving too much further into details) is that His time is not our time and it says that in the Bible.
Deception is the wrong word. "Deceptively Deep" probably is. Anyone who thinks a cursory, glancing read of the Bible will afford them all the length, width, breath and understanding to what it all means is fooling themselves.

So if our time is not the same as God's time, why can you not be a Christian and believe in evolution?I'd say that most of the time it is.

Of course you can be Christian and believe in evolution. I'd hope no one would believe otherwise.
