Anyone feel uncomfortable when holding pointy things? I know i do, whenever i got a sharp tweezers of scissors near my head i have to continually remind my self not to stab my eyes out with it. Not intentionally of course, kinda like holding back a reflex is more like it i think.

Whenever I have something in my hand, I have to consciously remind myself not to stick it in an electrical outlet.

I'm sure that provides many awkward situations.

Not me. I often run up and down the stairs with scissors in hand, just for the sheer reckless thrill of it.

Whenever I pick up sissors I'm always reminded of my elementary school teacher shouting at me for holding my sissors wrong.

Other than that I'm ok. Holding pointy objects is learned at an early age. :|

I don't think I feel uncomfortable enough around sharp objects. I always tell people, "When my right hand hold a razor blade, my left hand suffers for it." I prove it every time too. I accidentally cut my left hand open with a razor during an art class last summer. The same goes for anything that's very hot.

Usually not, but sometime I think "What if there was a violent earthquake while I'm holding this?" Then I get nervous.

When I'm holding, I'm fine, but when someone is pointing at me, even like, fingers or rulers, I sometimes freak out, and most of the times I am very uncomfortable. EDIT: apparently, the term is Aichmophobia, but it's not as serious to be called as a phobia.

Honestly, this may sound really screwed up... but I fear knives. I Really dont like cutting things.... like if I have to chop up some meat for supper, or cut like lunch meats, or anything really... I dont like knives. I really get nervous with them. :( I feel crappy about it even cause i like to cook, but thats the one part of cooking i make someone else do for me. :(

The opposite for me, I feel awesome and powerful... like I can kill. That'll probably change when I trip and accidentally stab myself with a fork or something.

I think lots of people feel that way about knifes. I know my grandma was, always made me chop up stuff for her.

Pointy things ,eh? Getting all high and mighty,eh?Well I'll tell you something my lad. When you're walking home tonight and some great homicidal maniac comes after you with a bunch of loganberries, don't come crying to me!
had to-It would have been stuck on repeat in my head all night,otherwise...
