after removing the blue sky behind the dennys sign image and pasting it in the new photo, all it took was lowering the opacity (transparency) of the sign... that's it! ZING

usually any photo-editing software with layers will have an opacity textbox or a slider bar associated with the layer. This can be adjusted from 0 to 100%. Just make sure the layers are stacked in the right order to get the effect needed.
