I suggest that you go with Opera since it has by far the most features out of any browser upon installation and is quite speedy to boot, having even beaten Chrome for a while. It will be the speed king again once Opera 10.60 is released. Nevertheless, I've been told that with today's connections, loading a page by an extra few milliseconds matters little. Anyway...

Opera Tips
I use Opera and it offers ways to accept certain cookies or all cookies per website. Also, there is a private surfing mode that hides where you have been. It is fast and offers a way to see exactly how fast via numbers and not just a bar like IE.
Which do you like better? Why? Which is the fastest? Safest? Not all of the questions need to be answered. You can just say something like "Firefox FTW!"Steak_And_EggsI didn't get that far. :P
I like Opera the most because it simply has everything I need and is very stable as well as speedy and that is important for me as a power user. I used to use Firefox but it required a lot of extensions for me to be happy with it and it ended up being laggy as well as hogging a lot of resources. Chrome, on the other hand, was too simplistic for me. I would also say that Opera is the safest out of all of them due to holding a low market share unfortunately and being updated regularly.

If you're looking for pure speed, go with Chrome. However, if you're looking for add on functionality, then its Firefox hands down/Shottayouth13-Why not just get him Opera which isn't that behind Chrome in speed and has the most features out of any browser from the start?
Either of the two which aren't Firefox - it's such a memory hog.kamikaze_pigmyNot unless you only use one tab. The more tabs you have, the worse Chrome and Opera get.
I use Firefox and Sea Monkey currently. Sea Monkey is basically Firefox but built around being the end all, be all internet application suite.
I forgot to mention that in terms of compatibility with GameSpot (the forums at least), it goes Opera > Firefox > Chrome.

I hate Opera's loading. It's awful.Lies. Chrome does not depict my posting history correctly i.e. the columns are stretched and odd looking as opposed to Firefox and Opera. Chrome also sucks with those video clips people post in their sigs or in their posts, playing them horribly slowly. Chrome also portrays individual posts as having their own scroll bars so having a post with several quotes is annoying to look at in Chrome. What's more, I cannot access dictionary/language options by right clicking when writing up a post.
Regarding Firefox, I cannot access dictionary/language options by right clicking when writing up a post, just like with Chrome.
Concerning Opera, I haven't encountered any GameSpot issues yet.

Opera > Firefox > Chrome
But the loading is so annoying. It takes off the whole page, and until the page is completely done loading, it is irritating to use.
I love Opera, been using since 2007, but it just has some problems with it I don't like. Chrome, IMO, just sucks, so yes, I don't like to compare chrome to opera or FF.

Granted, that doesn't happen much anymore, but it is annoying when it does.
I've recently gone from IE over to chrome... i like it alright. It's fast, but can be buggy from time to time.
I've only used IE, Firefox and Chrome, and I like Chrome the best.
Firefox has a lot of add-on's and a bit more customization, but I favor Chrome because it is A LOT faster and has less crashes. Plus it's browser has more modern features such as better looking tabs.
So 18 people in OT use Chrome. Is nobody else bothered by the issues Chrome has with the GameSpot forums that I mentioned earlier?Hexagon_777There are many different variables that effect a web browsing experience, including properly installed players, codecs, etc, what OS you are using, and the overall setup of you computer. I use chrome every so often to browse Gamespot, and I experienced none of the issues you claim to have.

I use chrome every so often to browse Gamespot, and I experienced none of the issues you claim to have. I had the problems on Windows Vista and Ubuntu and have them on Windows 7 as well. I remember having tried other computers as well and received the same results. I am also talking about the GameSpot forums specifically, not the GameSpot website.
