http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/barackobama/10170504/Barack-Obama-declares-broccoli-is-his-favourite-food.html So how do you feel about Obama's answer? Do you like broccoli? Was this a lie to push his agenda? Should we lie to our kids if it is to help them be healthy? Post your thoughts. What is your favorite food?

" He made the disclosure at a White House event for children who had won a healthy recipe contest, as part of first lady Michelle Obama's anti-obesity campaign. Having fun with the children, Mr Obama agreed to take two questions. " Two questions. It probably took like 5 minutes of his time. You're grasping at straws here.

no this is important, and directly ties into his vitamin D initiative to help turn this country into a socialist wasteland so that nobody can get ahead in life. Don't believe me? Listen to Alex Jones explain it.

You know KC I absolutely love that republicans constantly approve of the Reagan administration's use of quantitative easing, but when Obama does it it's socialism that must be stopped.

No. Regulations are created and enforced by executive agencies. And it was the democrat lead Congress that passed his ''stimulus' and 'green' energy crap. They also allowed taxes to go up by not even allowing a vote on the floor.

And that's supposed to be better?  Uninformed Republicans is basically the same thing as uninformed libertarian.

People understand it when they take the time to educate themselves on the theory behind it, look at real world evidence, and take a critical approach to evaluating it, as opposed to simply spitting out talking points because they refuse to take the time to understand it.

Yeah, because all we should be concerned about with regulations is how they impact the economy, not if they successfully protect taxpayer interests such as fighting global warming.  Okay, here's the part where you post a chart that you think disproves global warming when it actually validates the theory.  What's most important is that people with shittons of money make more of it, everything else is secondary.

Are you really that stupid? First of all the U.S.' greenhouses gases have dropped to early 1990's levels because of natural gas. Second, developing countries like China and India keep increasing their emissions faster than we could ever cut back.

Obama wasted money on 'green' projects that all went bankrupt. Doesn't have anything to do with global warming since they all failed anyway. His 'stimulus' was a giant failure as well.

Obama wasted money on 'green' projects that all went bankrupt. Doesn't have anything to do with global warming since they all failed anyway. His 'stimulus' was a giant failure as well.KC_Hokie

First off, they didn't all go bankrupt, a lot of them are actually quite successful.  Second, of course it has to do with global warming.  Third, better to pour money into green energy than to keep handing it to oil companies.  Fourth, every industrialized nation is stimulating green energy growth and they're all killing us in development in that area.  Fifth, his stimulis put hundreds of thousands of Americans back to work.  Without that stimulus unemployment would be even higher, there would be less tax revenue, and the economy in general would be worse off.  This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say you're uninformed.

And I would argue the average independent is better informed then the average democrat or republican.KC_Hokie

And you would be wrong, as usual.

[QUOTE="KC_Hokie"] Are you really that stupid? First of all the U.S.' greenhouses gases have dropped to early 1990's levels because of natural gas. Second, developing countries like China and India keep increasing their emissions faster than we could ever cut back. KC_Hokie

Oh, so this is the part where you're proven hopelessly wrong on all counts due to your poor information and horrendous logic.  Can we just skip the entire global warming argument?  I don't think we need to derail the entire thread just to prove you don't know what you're talking about.
