Night life in your town/city?

I was just wondering what night life was like in your town or city. Tonight I was talking home w/ friends and some drunk man approached us but soon said goodnight and left. Then a few seconds later he attacked one of my friends and threatened to kill us right there on the spot.... It was terrifying. This doesnt happen all the time as I live in a quite little town w/ only about 8000 ppl, but I was wondering what your night life was like.

by night life i thought you meant the party scene, not how dangerous it was.....

Life in Silicon Valley is Super fun, I love hanging with my friends. we usually go to watch a movie at midnight or stay up late walking no where

Pretty non-existant. Aside from the local restaurant, the hot springs, and the bowling alley everything elsecloses by 8pm. Not there's anything to do other than those 3 places anyway.

There is no nightlife in my city other than cars driving from one place to another. It is totally non-violent.

The night life around here is pretty much the local diner that's open until 3 or 4 am... other than that, not much.

Downtowncan get kind of violent, and there are some violent cities near by, but mine specificaly is not.

non existent lol, nothing besides maybe someone going down the street doing 60 then the sudden screeching brakes of them realizing exactly when the street actually ends lol

Crime scene is rather Mellow here in Portland, OR.

Pary scene isn't as great as I'd hoped for when I moved here 7 years ago. But Im 32 and married now, so I guess that doesnt matter. Atleast the crime rate is still mellow ;)

Since I live in the Auckland CBD, it is where pretty much all of the night life happens, though I'm kind of sick of the main clubs, the bars are much better.

While walking down the street with a friend a homeless guy randomly yells to us, "do you want to die today?". I said yes. Then he pulls a knife on us. Then I agressively yelled, "What the **** do you plan on doing with that?" and made a really angry expression and stared right into his face and then my friend knocked him over... He then ran away like a pansie.

Homeless is different than Bums. Bums I cant stand.

Quiet. Really quiet. No one is around most of the time.

Pretty crazy party life here in miami and the crime gets pretty bad depending where you are.

Depends which part of town you live in / what bars you hang out at. There is really upity safe places around here and there is some not so nice places around here. Most of the people who act tough in this town are allot of bark and no bite so if you stand your ground they back off and leave you alone.

Here in Bangkok, there is always a lot going on at night. A big thing here is the sex "industry" at the bars or massage parlors. It's really odd when you first see it, but I imagine they can make good money with it. I know there are drugs around, but I have yet to see any. They have the death penalty for selling drugs here, so I haven't really looked around much for that. Aside from the sex industry, it's not too much different than most cities in the nightlife aspect. Bars and clubs are popular, and eating out is a very big part of the culture. Everywhere you look there is someone selling some food. I will say it's probably my favorite city that I've been to so far. It's definitely never boring.

We don't really have a night life here. It's more like go to the movies at night and thats it. :/

The two towns I live near have great nightlife, and there is only a 5minute drive between them so it's all good and the clubs are open til about 4am. The closest town has IKEA (not ideal for a night out :lol:) Cineworld, Hollywood Bowl, Nandos, Harvester, KFC, Village Hotel, they're all together pretty much. :)

Then 20mins drive away there is the city of Manchester, the nightlife there is just fantastic.

people are weird at night in my town :?

I was jogging and there was this whole group of people searching for an "experiment", It was weird, and annoying! :x

Well here in Germany there is a curfue at 12 o'clock if you're under 18...so there aren't many people on the streets around 3 in the morning. From time to time you'll meet drunk people or some tokers or whatever. But the town I live in isn't that big (like 20000 people). Its close to Munich...I wouldn't want to be walking in the dark allys in that city at 3 in the morning...the main streets however should be fine.
