Solid nay.

I've never been to a place so full of fake self-important people, drug addicts, neo/post-modern socialism, rude people, overcrowding and congestion, inflated prices, inflated taxes, and dirtiness.

Greatest city in the world, yeah, right, and my badonkadonk smells great too.

I've never been anywhere near New York. I can't speak for it either way. My area of expertise is the South/Midwest.

Obvious bias since I'm a Brooklyn native, but I find it to be the greatest city in the world. Don't think I'd ever leave, except for a vacation.

I couldn't agree more. I love parts of upstate NY, but NYC is trash.

Chinatown sucks. Rockefeller Center was awesome. Really depends on where in the city you go.

Altogether, though, I'm calling nay because I just plain hate urban setting.

You'll get most of those in any big American city.

When you're a boy
Some days are tough
Lying on your bed
Playing punk rock and stuff
Home is a boot camp
You gotta escape
Wanna go and wander
In the ticker-tape

You feel the deal is real
You're a New York City boy
So young, so run
Into New York City

New York City boy
You'll never have a bored day
'Cause you're a New York City Boy
Where Seventh Avenue meets Broadway

The street is amazing
The hoochies unreal
Check out all the hardware
At the latest deal
Hear a song
That's the bomb
If you don't get the mix
It's got eighty-six

You feel the deal is real
You're in New York City
New York City boy
You'll never have a bored day
'Cause you're a New York City Boy
Where Seventh Avenue meets Broadway

New York city boy
This is your reward day
'Cause you're a New York City Boy
Where Seventh Avenue meets Broadway

Then as the evening falls
You can return its calls

You feel the deal is real
You're a New York City boy
So young, so run
Into New York City

New York City boy
You'll never have a bored day
'Cause you're a New York City Boy
Where Seventh Avenue meets Broadway

It's certainly not my cup of tea but for people that like the city, I can see why there's so much love for it.

Awesome as fvck city. Unless you're a complete boring loner, there's something there for everyone. Though this is true for all big cities but everything is just more pronounced there.

There just isn't enough somethings for me to like it. The things NYC offer that I'd be into for any regular basis, I can do absolutely anywhere.

I guess that's fair. I don't hate the city. It's just not for me. Now LA...that's a city I hate.

I've been there once and that was going from the Staten island terminal to ground zero and back. It was smelly, dirty, insanely hot (was during the summer) and no wind or anything between all the big ass buildings. When we arrived at ground zero I was like: ''Fck it, I want outta here before I suffocate''

Worst city I've ever visited

I've never been there and though I do think its inhabitants tend to rest a bit too heavily on its laurels, I have a feeling I'd like it as I like the hustle and bustle of a more concentrated city after living in the large non-city city that is Los Angeles for most of my life. Not that it's not sometimes fun to have a bit more room and not have to deal with all those intense city identities that the average big city tends to wallow in, But I do like being able to get to places without a car as L.A. for a big city has the worst public transport system that I've even seen.

Maybe. I went to Applebee's in Times Square, and lunch was $50. That same meal where I live would be $27 or so.

I loved when i was traveling there. enjoyed chinatown (but then again i don't mind being around recent arrival immigrants), loved Broadway. overall really enjoyed it.

If i could afford it, i'd live there if only for a little bit to get the whole city.

Visited downtown Manhattan for vacation, and i really enjoyed it. Also visited upstate NY on the same trip. Don't let the naysayers fool you, it really is a great place. Especially if you like the city-type feel and environment. if you got to NYC definitely sight see by day and club/bar at night. Live it up to your fullest!!

But go prepared to spend $$$. It's really expensive.
