Ok so my contract with tmobile ends tonight!!! thank goodness, i get almost no recedption from them in my area and dont like their phones.

The 2 companies with good coverage in my area are ATT and Sprint.

I just want the best mutitasking, multimedia phone I can get.

Any suggestions??

Also I hated t mobiles customer support, nothing was their fault and i dont complain a lot.

So what company and what phone do you guys reccomend?

Sprint. I know absolutely nothing about them, but anything's better than AT&T, especially in the CS department.

AT&T - Motorola Atrix 4G ("Most powerful smartphone in the world")

Sprint - Samsung Galaxy S Epic 4G, HTC Evo Shift 4G (Epic has better specs, Evo has better software and will get quicker updates)

I got an iPhone 4 yesterday. I sold my Blackberry 9000, which I had for less than a month. Before that I had the iPhone 3GS. I like the iPhone best.

It compares quite well unless you want to play graphically intense games, as the Evo has a relatively weak GPU and the Epic has the best GPU you can get in a phone today.

HTC EVO all the way, on Sprint. Great phone, fast, smooth, and if you put work into it there are plenty of ways to customize it.

Walmart AT&T Go phones for me. They're great. You can also get some good AT&T prepaid phones on Amazon that have touch screens, etc.

Sprint and an Epic 4G. The hardware is vastly superior to the Evo's, and even though the screen is smaller, I guarantee you will love the sAMOLED and won't be able to go back to an LCD. And the Froyo update is coming the 21st, which is 2 days.

What are the main differences between these phones?

I am partial to sprint because it has great reception in my area.

EPIC: 4 inch sAMOLED 800x480 display, Hummingbird CPU+PowerVR SGX 540(best CPU and GPU out right now, and are even comparable to the dual core Tegra 2), 512mb of RAM, Samsung's TouchWiz UI with Android 2.1(soon to be 2.2), slide out keyboard EVO: 4.3 inch 800x480 display, 1st gen Snapdragon CPU with Adreno 200 GPU, 512mb of RAM, HTC Sense and Android 2.2, kickstand. In the end, they are both some of the best phones out there. I would really recommend going to the store and using both of them.

I am partial to sprint because it has great reception in my area.

Evo has a larger screen (4.3" vs. 4"), but Epic has a Super AMOLED screen, which is beautiful.

Evo takes higher resolution pictures, but the Epic seems to produce better pictures anyway

Both have fron facing cameras

Evo has a kickstand

Evo runs HTC Sense over Android, which is a pretty good skin. Epic runs Samsung Touchwiz 3.0, which is pretty horrible. (both can be replaced though)

Evo probably feels less cheap than the Epic. Samsung has an annoying habit of making their phones feel really light and cheap. HTC usually makes solid feeling phones

Epic has a PowerVR 540 GPU, which blows the Adreno 200 in the Evo out of the water

Epic has a slightly more powerful cpu, but I've heard that Android is slightly more optimized for the cpu in the Evo.

I will do that first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks for the help

21st? That means it still doesnt have it.

EDIT: The point being, Samsung takes ages updating their phones.

Why they do, I don't know. The international ones have had Froyo since November, which was when they promised it...

I hate the fact that the data plan is capped at 2 or 4gb for new users.
