Aw man gender specific toys? That sucks for the girls.Sajo7LOL, all they get are lame ass barbie dolls and doll houses.
While the toy gun may seem shocking to some, it's not necessarily the only reason this is a problem. The issue mainly revolves around the fact that there is a double standard within our public schools, and Muslims are getting preferential treatment.

Seriously, stop looking for crap that isn't there. There was nothing religious in the bags, Evans told Fox News. The bags were gender-specific. The girls received necklaces and Barbie dolls.
[QUOTE="kingkong0124"][QUOTE="DroidPhysX"] Would you then agree that social conservatives vote Obama?BossPersonThey do vote for Obama, but that's more because of ignorance. If they actually knew his values, they would clearly vote Republican... ....lol muslims voting for people who hate muslims
Republicans don't hate your average American Muslim....

....between nutjobs like Peter King and Michelle Bachmann, they're either scared of muslims or they hate them. They all have valid points about extremist Islam. As does Bill Maher, a liberal idiot. Still doesn't change the fact that Muslims vote liberal. The fact is, American Muslims vote for people that do not agree with their own values.
[QUOTE="kingkong0124"][QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]kk joins the host of OTers who don't read the articles they post: Evans said the student was punished for lying not for chewing his pizza into the shape of a gun.chessmaster1989that was a completely unrelated incident....read the article dude. It says in the article that the school policy does not address toy guns. The quote I provided suggests that there was not a double standard at this school. So, your premise that there is a double standard is wrong. Next time try reading before you post.
students lie all the time. don't act like that wasn't part of the punishment - that's ignorance.

If the facts don't fit your prior, adjust the facts to fit your prior. :lol:It still played a factor. There's also the issue of this: It was a celebration in a public school of an Islamic holiday, local blogger Cathy Hinner told Fox News. What it comes down to is the proselytizing of Islam.
what happened to your love of seperation of church and state?

And the kid was giving out gifts. I see that as about as harmless as giving out gifts for secret santa. If he'd been passing out Qur'ans that'd be a different matter, but he was giving out toy guns and barbie dolls.
