Now usually I hardly get emotional over a song, but there is one, Dance With My Father - Luther Vandross.
The reason this song gets to me is just imagining what it would be like if it was true, it makes me sad.

I avoid listening to sad music, though Adagio for Strings always touches a cord.bangell99For that type of music, you should listen to Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor. Truly amazing.
"I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour, but heaven knows I'm miserable now. I was looking for a job and then I found a job, and heaven knows I'm miserable now.
In my life, why do I give valuable time to people who don't care if I live or die?"
Now that may sound pretty sad but its actually a very uplifting song :) Lyrics aren't everything in music.

Gosh there's so many sad songs out there it's rather hard to pick a handful of "bests".
So I'll just mention Nik Kershaw's "Wouldn't It Be Good" just because nobody here has probably heard of it but unfortunately no linky as I am at work.
