@Serraph105: Because of fate mostly, But also because of multiple things. I am male. I grew up in total isolation from girls because of my father, and I am also shy. I have no courtship skills/instincts. I have no idea what to say in front of a girl. I have never spoken to a hot girl for more than 15 minutes, and I have never even come close to touching one. I've always wanted a girlfriend, particularly a high school sweetheart. I tried in high school in vain but there were no cute single girls, (they were all taken). High school ended, along with my lifelong goal. So I didn't bother after that. It almost happened a few times after that, especially when I left that dreaded country. But it was too revolutionary for me that I just let it slip. For instance a hot girl sat next to me on a train and even said a few words to me. I did not start a conversation because I was in disbelief, it was an unprecedented situation that happened for the first time in my life. But the main thing is fate, because it always seems like fate is deliberately taking girls away from me. For example wherever I go, there are no girls, or they are all taken, or whaterer fate does to keep me away from them. Because my goal was to get a girlfriend IN highschool, that era has passed and it is impossible to travel back in time. If only I had grown up elsewhere, like in America, I would have probably got a girlfriend, because American girls are the only ones who could approach a guy. I never approach girls. Even males approach me first. But I'm 33 now and my courtship instincts haven't changed and fate keeps working against me, that's why I say it's impossible for me to even regularly talk to a hot girl, later on touch her hand or anywhere, later on kiss, etc, etc.
