Linkin Park vs. Muse

Who is better? Who has more talent. I n my opinion its Linkin Park. Some think otherwise. Oh and to some of you people, I'm the guy who prefered Ke$ha over Radiohead :P

While I dislike both of them, I border on an unhealthy hatred of Linkin Park. so in my book Muse sucks less.

I know Linkin Park gets alot of hate on this site but I enjoy more of their songs. Hybrid Theory and Meteora were great albums. Muse I probably like 2-3 of their songs most of the other stuff is just a bunch of noise to me.

The results will be one-sided.

I cringe seeing those two compared to each other.

Muse get a check mark from me.

I like both but I voted LP. I know they did almost no work on Reanimation but that album can't be topped.

Can't say I enjoy listening to either of them but I voted for Muse out of spite for Linkin Park.

The rap/ singing is what I love about them.

their first two cds are decent.

their most recent one is annoying, to me personally.

i'm sorry we have differing opinions.

Muse isn't even an enjoyable band. But I'd take an eternity of them over fifteen minutes of Linkin Park's massively angsty music.

Linkin Park's lyrical content is about everyday or personal issues.

Muse is more about philosophical and abstract themes.

I like both equally as both have themes that I can relate to in certain moments.

Having listened to all of Linkin Park's and most of Muse's albums, I'd have to say I like Muse better. I have to admit that Meteora is better than Resistance though. Time is Running Out and Starlight beat any of LP's songs IMO. Neither are really my type of music though (my favorite bands are The Shins and Yeah Yeah Yeahs). Oh, and Bomberdood it looks like I won our little bet :P

I like both bands actually, but this here is no contest.

Muse has WAY more talent in the band (The only talented members of Linkin Park are the vocalists who get absolutely blown away by Bellamy) and they write much better songs. You really cannot argue the talent portion of the arguement as Muse's music is much more complex instrument wise and you also have to consider Bellamy not only sings amazingly, but plays damn good guitar and phenominal piano.

Muse, although I like them hardly as much as I used to.

MUSE has talent. Linkin Park is for 14 year olds.

Muse is better, but thats not saying a lot. Would you like obnoxious noise or eggs on the pavement rhythm?

I did listen to most of LP songs but as far as Muse goes i listened to 1-2 of their songs
