He was 14 when he made the video, was he naive then ( really didn't understand the words he uttering ) or racist from a young age ?

I think it should not be taken seriously as he was really young at that time and hardly understood the meaning of the words.

I think Justin will always be a naive and stupid little boy.

He was just a stupid teenager. And maybe still is.

Back when I was a kid, they used to have a series of books entitled, 'Truly Tasteless Jokes', which hit on every ethnic/racial background you can imagine and sorted by chapter. We used to tell jokes from that book all the time and most were pretty funny. The only difference between us kids back then and JB is we weren't dumb enough to record ourselves saying it and then go on to become a celebrity pop star.

We all know this kids is a F-up, and not for his lame, racist jingles. They really need to stop with all this archived crap they keep finding and let him be. Surfacing these videos is only keeping him current, and while it's not the kind of exposure he wants I'm sure, it's still exposure.

A lot of non-black teens and college-age people will let the N word out while singing along with hip hop songs. It doesn't automatically make them racist but at the end of the day if anybody asks what gives them the right to say it look at the First Amendment.

I haven't watched the video and it is unlikely I will anytime soon. But even if Bieber is saying it and speaking of the KKK in a racist manner it probably won't change how much people hate him. People legitimately hate him more than they hate such people as Adam Lanza, Hitler, and Osama bin Laden. How much more can they hate him now?

You're more than a week late son. Talk about old ass news. Hell it was actually almost two weeks ago now that I think about it.

You might be thinking of the "chainsaw joke" that was circling around the net a couple of weeks ago. This video is separate, although along the same lines.

14-year-olds say a lot of idiotic and horrific stuff as a joke due to either not caring or not grasping how it effects people. I won't hold this against him as long as he seems to have changed as an adult. I'm generally of the nature that once you hit 18, I wipe your slate clean and judge you off of your actions from that point on.

I did a lot of dumb shit from 12-19 and I wouldnt have had a very nice life to date if people didnt have the capacity to forgive and forget my poor judgement. People hate him because he makes catchy trashy music, he is worth a fortune and girls love him. He's barely started his life and has achieved a great deal in a short time.

You can think someone is a dick and still have great respect for heir achievements.

Bullshit. A 14 year old should know right from wrong. He fully understood the meaning of his words. I just wish he'd get deported to the northernmost point of the Northwest Territories in Canada, but I don't even think they would tolerate him.
