Just saw Bruno, hilarious!

I know it hasn't came out yet, but I won tickets on the radio to a premiere. The theater was packed with other people who won them and a few newspaper movie critics.

Best comedy I've seen in a long time (haven't seen The Hangover though). I can't really say it was funnier than Borat, since it's such a different subject matter and they are both hilarious.

After the movie, people in the crowd either loved it or hated it. Basically if you loved Borat, you'll probably like this. There is many many gay jokes, but they are varied and some of the scenes/jokes don't have anything to do with gay stuff. I don't want to spoil the movie for everyone, but I could put up spoiler tags if someone has a specific question.

this is good news. i cant wait to see it because the trailer made me laugh alot so it should be good hopefully. i wont put too much in to what the critics say because they will most likely bash it

I never saw Borat (Atleast the whole thing), but I will see this.

I don't care how much is staged, still funny. Also I have heard it's not as funny as Borat but still pretty funny.

Both Borat and Burno are prime examples of the degeneration of comedy. Everything today is about being extreme and over the top. People who laugh at this are just as shallow.

Yeah, I have. And in Sweeny Todd he had exactly 15 minutes of screen time as another over-the-top character. But, I don't know, haven't seen much of his other work, besides the characters he creates. Maybe he's a good actor. But why are those characters so bad then? They are just not funny. And what's worse - you can see his attempts at being funny, but they fail.

I'm going to see it tomorow afternoon with some of my friends.

I know someone that also went to a premiere, but I heard a bad review from them. They said the people in it were obviously actors. But I don't know if I will like it, since I really liked Borat, which is probably the funniest movie I have ever seen. I can't wait to see Bruno though.:)RFObi22

Borat was very hit and miss. I've heard this is worse... but my brother is up this weekend... We'll see how it goes.

I found it to be more disturbing and uncomforting than funny. It wasn't a bad movie just filled with plenty of awkward moments.

was there any male nudity... like the hotel scene in borat? Or just plan gross out humor in gereral? That was my biggest complaint about borat, and I feel this would be worse.
