Johnny Depp as Riddler, Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin in next BATMAN FILM???

Anyone else hear this rumor? I think both are great actors but I think Paul Giamatti would be a pretty good penguin.

I'd love to see Harley Quinn as a villain but not sure if that would work w/ no Joker. Scarlett Johannson would be a perfect pick for Harley.

It's not, it was discredited almost immediately after the rumor started.

And the directors have stated that neither Penguin nor Catwoman will be appearing in any of the Batman films they make since they consider those two characters to be too silly and gimmicky to be featured in a serious Batman flick.

I'm pretty sure that Johny Depp said in a very informal radio interview that he would like to play the ridler. These are all rumors.

As far as the Penguin goes Nolan said that to fit the Penguin in his realistic Gotham City would be a 'big challenge'. So we know for sure that he is currently not planning to include the Penguin, but that could change if he finds insparation.
