Jess McDonell: GameSpot Hostess

I've only recently started taking notice of her despite how long she's been with GameSpot (because it's only recently that I've started actively watching GameSpot videos on YouTube). Anyhow, I love her casual yet not-so-informal manner of speech (she's found a happy medium), as well as her Australian accent. Also, the fact that she's easy on the eyes is icing on the cake. What do you guys think of her?

I'm too old to have crushes; I'm past that. I've simply taken notice of her due to the way that she presents herself and the news, as well as how attractive she is. However, I'm not lusting after her or anything like that. Besides, I'm pretty sure that she wouldn't even give me the time of day.

She does have a good camera presence and presents the topics and news in a very clear and precise manner without it getting too stiff lipped.

GameSpot's staff has stopped responding to my requests and inquiries regarding my old account, so I'll probably never get it back.

She's great... she knows her sh**.

It's great that she's Aussie too.

I almost made the mistake of describing her accent as British, but after listening a bit more carefully, I realized that it's Australian.

I think she's weird. Actually, I think most of the people who do the GameSpot videos are weird.

Awww you are being modest. You are a sweet guy BRHD , i'm sure she'd love to know you as a freind for starters. Just don't mention your theory of Rapeland or any of your theories on rape please :)

What makes you consider her to be weird?

She has really good poise in front of a camera. She also presents the stories in a very concise way. All-in-all she's actually pretty good at what she does. She also seems very informed although it's hard to tell in a scripted video cast.

I generally hate the videos GameSpot makes for a long while so I just don't watch, so I don't have an opinion of her directly.

She's very informed outside of a script. She knows her stuff.

She's good. Real pro.

She would be snapped up by the BBC but her interests are games and that's not something they cover.

She's good at what she does and all her videos enjoyable.

I can't explain it, she just is. Kind of like how Danny O'Dwyer is an idiot (that is the first thing I think of whenever I see his videos) I just think she's weird whenever I watch one of hers.

What you think of Kevin?

KVO is still the best employee, aside from Chris Watters, that GameSpot has. His reviews, more than anything else, usually determine if I buy a game or not.

And the best part? Whenever he's involved in a video he acts NORMALLY. He doesn't act like a moron like Danny does.

The girls on IGN are better in terms of aesthetics. For opinions I'll stick to Kat Bailey on USGamer.
