Is Marble Hornets scary ?

I heard a lot of praise on this series but it's kind of a bore fest to me. Is the Marble Hornets scary to you? When the Slender Man gets close to the camera and kills his victim, I think the loud noises are suppose to be scary but they're just annoying heavy bass sounds to me.

To me it started quite scary but in the long run it bore me down. Maybe it's just me as I didn't pay attention to the progression of the story anymore.

Its got a really good creepy vibe going for it. I havent watched it for a while so I'm really behind. There are one or two episodes that stick out with some good scares though.

All I can find out of this is that it's a mythological stuff,it's more like a slenderman-esque arousal,and I won't believe in shits like these.just plain make-believe,it's not that scary.
