This probably has more to do with the fact that intelligent people are more likely to drift away from the norm and try new things(the "norm" of course being eating meat).Â

There are people who eat meat that can be nicer than some vegetarians. Also, eating meat of an animal you did not personally kill does not make you any less compassionate than vegetarians. Maybe you would like to stop hiding behind all of these statistics and listen to a little bit of reason before assuming that vegetarians can be smarter and kinder than everyone else. Just because you choose to eat meat, it does not make you an evil moron....
