This is very old news, but I have just come upon it. I've heard that E3 is changing its name, and venue. I've also heard its invite only. I've always wanted to go, but now its impossible. Has anyone else heard about it?

The massive booths really aren't necessary when the show isn't open to the public. It's just wasted money.
yea, thats what I heard somewhere. Its just easier for the people who are invited to look at everything.Plus it was moved to two months later so developers can get demos, vids, or gameplay movies ready.
