I have a good amount of respect for Avril (as you can see, im on a first name bases with her). Whenever people mention her "punk sound", may it be on tv, radio, etc, she stops them and corrents them by saying "I am not punk rock, Im more so pop". At least she doesnt pretend to be somthing shes not
