I liked George Bush's weird face, but he was also a great president, so I choose him.

Anyone who doesn't say Teddy Roosevelt doesn't understand US History. Of course, FDR, Abe Lincoln, JFK, and Washington are also acceptable answers, but TR is the best answer.

And Reagan helped the Mujahadeen and other rebel troops in Afghanistan to fight the Soviets, not to mentioned he preached Minimum Government while continually expanding it by raising Military spending and continuing worthless foreign spending.

I like Reagan cuz he was a hard ass and I think he would call out congress on their inefficiency to get anything done. For real we need to get rid of the current congress and re vote. Right now we have just a bunch of babies and clowns.

Jefferson was my favorite president....

He definitely was a great President. He was very open minded with his beliefs, was a very smart individual, and believed in religious and individual freedom. I say one of the few mistakes he did though, was doing nothing about slavery once he was in office, even though he was known to be so vocal against it, even during the signing of the Declaration. He could have brought an end to it very early.

I doubt he'd have been able to get rid of it. The Civil War was in 1860 and slavery still had it's proponents. Unfortunately. And he was president much much earlier.

Yep, he did, which was the problem, especially since he was so vocal against it. If he handled that situation better, he could have ended slavery early, and honestly would probably be undoubtedly the best president.

But with that aside, to answer the OP I think he would be the best president, even now.

His solution for slavery was to put all non-white Americans on a boat to the Caribbean as he didn't think multiracial societies could exist. He kept hundreds of slaves himself as well.

In the early drafts of the Declaration, he was very critical on British slave trade and felt it should come to an end immediately. But like you said, there were definitely many proponents even at that time sadly.

In a way, he was kind of right. Multiracial societies have plenty of racial problems. Even the melting-pot that is the USA still has racial problems.

No offense, but Adams was a horrible President. The Alien and Sedition Acts single handedly destroy any remarkable features of his presidency. He was a great figure in the movement for independence, but a crappy president.

Well to be fair from what I've seen of American Politics if your enemies aren't calling for your head you were probably assassinated during your term.

Oh I liked Clinton too, dont get me wrong. It just seems sad, when some little affair will throw half the country into a frenzy and no one batted an eye at the stuff they let Dubya get away with.
