Would you marry him or her?
For me, maybe not. This isn't rocket science, but marriage brings with it more responsibilities, and i dunno if it is worth it for that.

Well, maybe that, but more along the lines of is your perfect match, in terms of emotionally, personality. What do you mean one for you? As in destined?

Then yes without a doubt.
Not really, there was this one girl who I thought was really attractive and stuff but she was a bit of a b!tch towards me . metroidprime55Yes, but what if there was that girl who was pretty, nice, loving towards you, and was your perfect match? You wouldn't be getting along 100%, but you get what i mean...

If that were the case, would marriage be really necessary? (Oh hell yeah I went there.)cd_romOh no...
I don't think I'd ever know if said person was actually the one for me :|. But if I ever got into a serious relationship with someone I liked and cared for, eventually, who knows?
[QUOTE="3eyedrazorback"]I'm marrying her in (laugh all you want  ) 69 days.cd_romWhy would I? At the 69 part. No...? Nothing..?

He's getting married. That's laugh-worthy, in a sad, nervous manner.
only if she's okay with polygamyZumaJones07Well if she's your "The One," then theoretically, she certainly would be, correct?
Anyway, I fail to see the challenge to this question... I was expecting to have to deal with a catch, but why wouldn't I want to be with my so called perfect girl? I don't know if I want to get married, but I wouldn't argue that fervently against it or anything, either. I'd absolutely want to be with her, though, of course, and marriage would be an easy thing to concede to for me. I suppose having to get married is a big thing for some, though, so I guess I get where the challenge of the question comes from.
Though in my own opinion, this is kind of a paradoxical situation to me. I mean, your "The One" would be someone that's basically perfect for you, yes? So he/she would have the same feelings toward marriage as you, whatever they may be. It depends on how you define a person defined as your "The One," though, I suppose.
Yep, absolutely. But I don't really understand the question. Are you asking people who don't really want to get married if they would if they found the perfect person or if there would be someone else that isn't "the one" that would be better to marry? Either way, I say yes.
no i dont have to get married we can be fine and dandy just being called a couple for the rest of our lives
The very notion that just one 'someone' out there is 'The One' is absolutely ridiculous...67gt500
I agree. Socially enforced monogamy never made so much sense to me.
