well first you gotta become friends with the girl. then just show her that your a better man then he is. show signs that you like her without actually directly telling her, cause if you tell her that will ruin things and she'll avoid you. once you show her all you good qualities she may become interested in you and leave her bf, otherwise move on or just cry into your pillow at night.

Meh, I think you can get used to it. I had a crush on a girl for years, throughout high school, and even into the first couple semesters of university (since I know she goes to the same university I go to as well) and the first time I noticed it years ago I heard about how she already had a boyfriend... and when I asked her to prom she already had a date, and it didn't bother me too much. I just asked a friend of mine who happened to be female.
You post on Gamespot about it and see what they have to say. I hear those guys are experts on this kind of stuff. I wish I knew as much about girls as they do.

But it's just ridiculous that people expect a solid answer from an internet forum, when they could do something else, like talk to their friends about it, or seek advice from someone who is willing to help, as opposed to asking for it over the internet. He didn't even explain the situation at all, he just asked a broad question that has no answer. That's why I don't get why people come here for girl advice.
