[QUOTE="Beaman"]whether or not you're skinny, average or overweight depends on your height also, not just your weight.FLSTSdont forget about your age.
I'm a little overweight, but it isn't that bad.
5'10, 185.

Wth. Im also 5'10 but i weight 133 pounds.
Why would you say someone is fat if they are over 200, im about 240 and a little over 6'3" with around 9-10% body fat, while the average is just over 20%. I lift weights alot and naturally am a built person, you shouldnt characterize people as fat if they weigh over 200please only people that are about 16 yrs old or older post.

This poll does not talk in factors that would affect being considered skinny versus obese. Hieght and age are big factors. A 5'10 15 yr old who is 200 lbs is 'fatter' in a sense than a 5'10 30 yr old who wieghs the same. To me at least since it is a lot easier for a 15 yr old to maintain a healthy wieght than it is for a 30 yr old. Oh and a 140 lbs 15 year old is NOT skinny.
Oh and did you know that muscle wieghs more than fat? It does. So a really fit and built 6'0 guy could wiegh more than a fat 6'0 guy of the same age.
Anyhow, I am 16. 5'9 and 150 lbs.

Younger age means you're still growing, and weight is affected by height. Someone claiming to be 5'10 at 16 and weighing 180lbs, isn't the same as 5'10 at 30. As the 16 year-old has another 9 years of bone growth to go (bones start to fuse at 25).
And folks also forgot to mention gender and ethnic group also plays in weight statistics -- latter especially, since some ethnic groups the bones are more porous, which gives them more agility; where othershigher bonedensity (weight included)meant the ability to survive in an harsher environment.

Same here, I can eat McDonalds while sitting on my ass all day and still not gain any weight.

same as me, (I'm 19 though) I used to weigh like 130, I ate pizza everyday at school, and just had a poor diet. I eat a lot more fruit, less junk, etc. now, and eat more, smaller meals (better for your digestion).
