Yeah, i think it depends on how much money the movie made in the box office. A bigger movie will take longer, while the crappy box office bombs will go straight to DVD a couple months after. At least, that's how i see it.
Before the turnaroun time for a movie was about 5-6 months, now it seems less than that, usually 4 months, sometimes sooner than that. ex: Rocky Balboa came out in theaters mid-December, We're gonna get the DVDS in next week. It's been a little under 4 months since it's been released.

I remember Aladdin taking forever to come out on video back in the day. What drives me nuts is that If a movie's a hit, they'll release a bare-bones dvd, then put out a special edition DVD a few months later.

I don't really buy movie dvds so that's not as annoying for me as it must be for some people.

well 1. Its supposed to be an awesome movie, and broke records 2. summers coming up really quick...so i HIGHLY doubt it He's right, it would probably come out in the fall...
