have you ever taped yourself

doing your ordinary everyday things?( it could range from scratching your neck to an argue with a friend) does the whole idea of doing so interest you?
today, i went through a conversation with a female friend of mine and she mentioned she'd done this a alot and that it'd helped her grasp a better understanding of herself and she'd been since more realistic about herself and everything. now i'm kinda convinced that its indeed one of the tasks everyone should consider doing at least once in their lifetime. of course it would only work if you somehow managed to forget about the camera being there.

have any of you ever done this? if so, did you find it informative in anyway? did it help you with anything?

Nope, never considered doing it. My wedding video doesn't count, right?

Also, how does your friend do it? She sees a friend at a coffee store, goes in, say "wait, let me just turn my camera on so I can later evaluate my performance during this conversation" and then starts chatting?

I wouldn't even know to go about doing that - if you know you're being filmed, you'll naturally act differently.

Of course who hasn´t? isn't it a natural thing to use gadgets you either buy or get and who waits for that special occasion, so when i got my new HD cam i tested it by filming all kinds of normal day things.

But other than that of course not i am not crazy ;)

I used to record conversations with my friends. We'd be sitting around just chatting. Nothing major. I never really used it for self analysis. It was more for remembering a moment. I think in the end seeing how you react to everyday situations might be enlightening, but not important. It might show some tendencies to your mannerisms but nothing that would be earth shattering. Unless it was something like you realize how much older you look years later or something.

No and I don't use icloud, I don't even have a camera on anything or phone or an email, thanks.
