Have you ever reported someone?

So did you ever report some one on here? If so why?

Me I have never reported someone. I guess it is because the mods got to them before I could of seen these horrible posts. :p

Yeah. I reported a few people that were insulting each other on the gothic 4 forum about an hour ago.

Spam, blatantly offensive posts. I don't bother with most things.

I've reported spammers for banning, thats about it. Oh and bad user reviews. Those turn me off. =PAllicrombie

I have only reported a few, although I have been reported to the mods by other people far more...

First time ever a few days ago. I never thought I would but somebody was being a real D**schbag.

Yes. He was going way too far. He was banned 10 minutes later.

There are only a few things that make me choose that "Report Abuse to Moderator" option in the drop-down menu:

1) Not safe for work content (porn, etc.)

2) Blatantly offensive posts (derogatory, racist language, etc.)

3) Obvious SPAM or advertising ("Hey check out my website about scratch-n-sniff stickers!!" - no, but seriously, where can I get those because they're awesome, especially the strawberry smilies); The exception being people who post about Steam sales, or GoG sales, legal free downloads, scratch-n-sniff stickers, etc.

I do not remember reporting any individual on here.

I really only report spammers and blatantly rude people. I think I've only used the report a user button like three times since I've been here.

Normally, I don't bother reporting others. However, this attitude (just for here on GS BTW) changed when I got about two warnings/post deleted each day. Now, I return the favor to the wonderful GS users! :)Hemmaroids

no, i don't report people. i don't see why anyone would need to report anybody. if someone gets offended by something someone on GameSpot says, i think it's time to log out.
