Have you ever had a dream... about a music video you've never seen

Might be dream advertising.

Now that I think of it, no dream of mine has ever had music in it. Music just isn't a huge influence in my life.

You have seen it but you don't know you've seen it: Probably it was in the background somewhere you've been, your brain notices more as you would think!

Pretty sure I haven't seen it, and I'm pretty sure the real video isn't like what I saw in the dream, I doubt the guy is sword fighting on a rooftop in the actual video.

But what you said about seeing stuff you don't realize you saw reminds me of an Arrow episode where Oliver was fighting/chasing a courier for Chien Na Wei who threw the message somewhere and Oliver said he didn't noticed, but eventually Tatsu had him do some candle meditation and he then remembered seeing the courier throw the message into a bunch of crates. There probably is some truth to this premise: that your eye sees things that at first you don't remember.

but i have had dreams where i would do something, usually normal day things, some weird things.
Then when id actually wake up, id go throughout my day, and some of the events that happened in my dream, then happened in real life.

Oh. Okay. I wasn't sure if it was a real phenomena.

I remember closing my eyes and seeing a psychedelic music video, or album cover... it was weird. And a truck passed by and it sounded like a synthesizer... but I wasn't asleep. It was totally different. There definitely were no swords involved.

Huh futarama reference... maybe.
