Iron Maiden's self-titled album happens to be one of my favorite album of theirs. Definitely not forgotten, and even so when I seen them live back in June or July, can't remember, they played Running Free.

Nocturnus is up there with the best bands to come out of Florida in the early '90s easily. I wouldn't say they're really forgotten though. A lot of people really like them.Well, actually the entire band, really.

The X Factor and Virtual XI are Maiden's two worst albums, they were rightfully forgotten. But their first is still awesome as ever.
[QUOTE="Bluestorm-Kalas"]Most of the songs on the album are forgetten This is just flat out untrue. Album has a few classics actually. On top of that, it's a lot of people's favorite Iron Maiden album, including mine.Iron Maiden's self-titled album happens to be one of my favorite album of theirs. Pink Floyd's Obscured by Clouds, I find the name a tad ironic and symbolic as the album was lost between the success of Meddle which came before it and Dark Side of the Moon which came after it.

There's some pretty good albums in there too. The first Killing Joke album was their finest, and Dust was kind of overlooked despite fantastic reviews (although it wasn't their best album IMO). The Levellers we hear nothing about either anymore - they were massive for a while when crusties were 'cool', and Neds Atomic Dustbin are fondly remembered too bless their stupid haircuts!
The first album that popped in my head when I thought of "forgotten" is Queen's Queen II. I think its as good if not better than A Night at the Opera.
Thinking about Neds Atomic Dustbin, a couple of great lost pop punk albums from the late eighties would have to be
Senseless Things - Postcard CV (sadly seem to be forgotten)
Mega City 4 - Tranzophobia (or Who Cares Wins)
EDIT, and how can forget Cud - When In Rome Kill Me or Elvis Belt were both fantastic.
