What is your favorite movie of the year?Push is mine.

Guys I forgot The Dark Knight was made in 2008 my bad.

I really liked Avatar. Yeah it's got ideas we've seen before (surrogates), but it's an awesome presentation.

I think I recall seeing District 9 this year, and I loved it. I'll go with that. Alongside Wanted and The Dark Knight, it's become my favorite movie.

Avatar so far, District 9 for second. I also loved Watchmen. The funny thing is they D-9 and Avatar had basically the same plot :roll:

Up was too kiddy for me, nothing as great as Wall-e

Inglorious Basterds was too slow and boring.

District 9 was the most original movie that released this year, and Avatar is the biggest and overall the best this year, all my opinion of course

I got the chance to see Up in the Air today. It was fantastic and is in my top 5 of the year. Still gotta make up my top 10 after I see Sherlock Holmes tomorrow.

I think Up in the air is Jason Reitman's best film. He is really maturing as a director. The ending while a bit predictable was very effective. I think Jason is much better than his dad Ivan. His films are much more mature and interesting while Ivan either makes fun goofy films like ghostbusters, or crap.

I really enjoyed Up, Districit 9, and Watchmen. I need a second viewing on Inglouris Basterds to get a better opinion on it.
