The dude is good no doubt...I wouldn't put him on my top ten though:P I guess your right, long day has lead me to jump to conclusions about the /thread. Still my favorite though, if not because of his drumming ability, but because of his all around... I don't know how to describe it. He seems really deep and reserved.[QUOTE="Grodus5"]
Ummmm... Neil Peart

John Bonham, Nick Menza (From the golden Megadeth days), Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins), John Densmore (The Doors), Dave Lombardo, Dave Grohl when he was with Nirvana.
[QUOTE="dramaybaz"]Joey Jordison *runs out*-Sniper99-You know what? I really respect Jordison. In my early years of metal/drumming I really looked up to him. He's probably the only member of Slipknot who actually has a good amount of talent. He's pretty fast, and some of his solos are great Not to mention he's probably the only drummer that plays his drum solos upside down.
Megadeth's current drummer is pretty kickass too man, plus he's Canadian:D I haven't listened to enough Megadeth to compare him to their old drummer at all though, I just saw them at Gigantour last year and he was really goodJohn Bonham, Nick Menza (From the golden Megadeth days), Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins), John Densmore (The Doors), Dave Lombardo, Dave Grohl when he was with Nirvana.

sean reinert. if you insist on hearing a solo (though his strength is really his diversity and relationships with the other instruments), then here.

haha okay then:DLars Ulrich. Even though Metallica has gone downhill for a while now, he seems to be having a blast drumming. btaylor2404Weakest member of Metallica in my opinion. His drumming in incredibly boring, not really mixing things up at all

Gavin Harrison (PT), Danny Carey (Tool), Neal Peart (Rush), and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater). All progressive dummers. ;)
Bonham is probably my favorite drummer to listen to.
Keith Moon is easily the most interesting to watch, though.
Buddy Rich and Neil Peirt rocks!!!
In Metal is this guy
Daniel Erlandsson of Arch Enemy
