I didn't think that boobs were a pair. For some reason I just thought it was one....piece (for lack of a better word)

That girls pee from their butthole
So yeah, I was like 6 years old hanging w/ my older sister and her hawt friends when one of them kicked the other one in the butt after she said she had to pee and she was all "OMG I almost peed my pants"
I asked my older friend why a butt kick would make her pee his pants. Being the younger brother of one of the hawtie older girls, I thought he'd know.
"Because they have a tiny dick up their ass that they pee from". I was like Uhhhhh that cant be!
I refused to believe in micro-ass-dick. But I was still left wondering about the peeing deal.
That I used to believe all the holiday mascots really exist. Sucks they're all not real, all of them. Santa Clause, The Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny. And there might be more I'm missing...
Well I don't know if its something embarrassing I used to believe in (I mean a lot of kids can easily fall for those and believe them) but its the best I got.
@MrGeezer: You make valid points that as a whole, humanity is better now than we used to be. You mentioned that we have technology and have it easy while others in third world countries still starve. We still have a long fucking way to go.
I work with a police station and the shit I see every day, every fucking day, shows me that here in America at least, we're heading for another war. My guess is a second civil war. On a smaller level, people don't give a shit about each other. They are self absorbed, relatively stupid and entitled. Our government promotes stupidity because they don't want a second revolutionary war. Dependant people generally don't bite the hand that feeds.
Do I consider myself better than others? A good percentage, yes. There are people better than me though. We have the means to ensure everyone eats. We have the means to help others in need. For the most part, people don't even bother to stop and ask if people are ok if they come up to a car accident. Then you go even more mundane to forums like these and what do I see from a group that should be friends? I see hate. A group of people with a hobby in common and they fucking hate on each other. That right there is just part of the problem.
Don't you think that might have something to do with the fact that you work in a police department? My point being, people don't generally call the police when things are going well. People generally call the police when things are going badly. The fact that you see a lot of bad shit might not be because people are awful. Maybe it's because you happen to work at a place where people go to when bad shit happens. It's kind of like working at a hospital and thinking that everyone is sick because you see sick people all day every day. Sure, MAYBE it's because everyone is sick as hell. Or maybe it's because you work at a hospital, which is where people go when they get sick. Or it's like being a crack dealer and thinking that most people are crackheads because those are the only kinds of people you see all day. Sure, MAYBE everyone's a crackhead. Or MAYBE you're just seeing crackheads all day because you decided to take a job selling crack.
Point being, I'm not denying for a second that a lot of people are absolutely horrible. But if that seems to be NORMAL, the way people just are, then it might just be because you're putting yourself in situations where bad people tend to go. That shouldn't reflect on people in general.
And for the most part, people in third world world countries are doing a LOT better than they were. And it's not just by total coincidence: a hell of a lot of people have dedicated their lives to helping others less fortunate. You pretend to care about starving people in third world countries, but I'm a bit curious just how much YOU have done to help them. If you care, them surely YOU'RE doing something to help. And if YOU are dedicating your life to selflesly helping out the less fortunate, then why would you assume that you're one of the only ones doing that?
You think you're better than most people? Based on what? What, EXACTLY makes you better than most people? The fact that you don't hate on individuals in online forums? Well, that's admirable, but you DID just sort of come onto an online forum and hate on ALL OF HUMANITY. Is that really better? Is hating all of humanity really better than having an unwarranted hatred of a tiny subset of humanity? I don't know, man. You tell me.
I used to believe people were generally good. Now I see humanity for what it is; a shit stain blight that will kill itself off.
This coming from someone who DEFINITELY has internet access, and probably doesn't have to worry too much about starving, freezing, being murdered, or being killed by wild animals.
Point being, FOR THE MOST PART, modern life is pretty freaking sweet for people in MOST PLACES. Yes, there are definitely exceptions and there are certainly still atrocities going on. But the fact that so many poor people are experiencing an OBESITY EPIDEMIC rather than flat out starving ought to tell you something. The days of conquering and raping and pillaging are FOR THE MOST PART gone (for now). The days of slavery are FOR THE MOST PART gone (for now). The days when being poor meant a very good chance that you and your entire family will starve to death come winter because the governments have a "**** that" stance towards providing assistance to the needy are FOR THE MOST PART gone (for now). Hell, the days when open and honest criticism of our governments and leaders and established institutions would get you and your family tortured or exiled or murdered are FOR THE MOST PART gone (for now).
That isn't to say that all of these problems don't still exist on some level. But compare to how things have been throughout much of human history, and a lot of things really have gotten a LOT fucking better. The very fact that we can complain about this shit without worrying about being killed or exiled or tortured or imprisoned or forced to fight to the death in arenas for other people's amusement ought to indicate that things have progressed a lot. And people have actually given their lives in order for that progress to happen. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that humanity is all sunshine and roses. But look at recent tragedies, like 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, or the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that killed some 230,000 people. A lot of incidents such as these create massive chaos, disrupt law enforcement, and make it REALLY freaking easy to get away with murder. We're talking about the kinds of apocalyptic shit that happens in movies right before all the characters go straight to murdering and eating each other. But in real life? More often than not, People TRY TO HELP. Or at the very least, don't actively try to hurt by preying on the weak. Humanity has problems, but if we were just a "shit stain blight" then we've had PLENTY of opportunities to kill ourselves and instead chosen to help each other out.
And here's the point where I mention that we often see in others what we see in ourselves. Like, suppose I have major trust issues and constantly think that all of my girlfriends are gonna cheat on me at any available opportunity. That MIGHT be because fate has been really mean to me, and everyone I ever loved was an unfaithful cheating witch. Or MAYBE it's because I'm simply applying "it's what I would do." As in, I'm not terribly worried about being brutally murdered in broad daylight in a crowded place. Why? Because IF I were gonna brutally murder someone, it probably wouldn't be in broad daylight in front of a crowd of onlookers. Since I am probably not very special, MOST people (even the people who don't mind murdering the shit out of someone) PROBABLY won't murder the shit out of someone in those conditions. Similarly, even if I really DID have the opportunity to murder someone and get away with it, I still swouldn't do it. Operating under the principle that I am not special, I'd expect MOST people to NOT murder another person even if they had the opportunity to get away with it. And that's sort of how reality plays out. I've been in a shitload of situations where I could have murdered or been murdered, but the fact remains that MOST PEOPLE aren't gonna murder a dude (even if they can get away with it) because most people really don't want to murder someone. Which brings me to my point...if you just assume that you're gonna be murdered any time someone has the opportunity, then you're sort of making an assumption about humanity. That that's how humans act. So...either you think you're special, that "people" would totally do that but you're somehow better than most people, or you're saying that that's what most people would do because you'd do the same. So that's my real question here. WHY do you consider humanity to be a "shit stain"? Do you think that you're NOT a shit stain, that you're somehow better than the rest of humanity? Or are you assuming that humanity is a shit stain because that's how you see yourself? And that's not a rhetorical question, I'd really be interested in you thinking about that and actually giving an honest answer. No judgement, I'd just really like to know. Is your low opinion of humanity based on a belief in your own superiority or is it based on a total lack of belief in your own self-worth?
I second this. Misanthropy is immature.
That dragon ball z episode where Gohan was teaching Videl and Goten how to fly. Yeah I sat for a while in the backyard trying to create a energy ball and then trying to fly. Boy do I feel silly now, I just was young and didn't harness my energy correctly. Going to try again
When I was 12, I thought playing with fire really meant playing with fire. I recall a pretty teenage girl asking me if I knew how to play with fire. I told her my mom doesn't let me play with matches. It didn't dawn on me what she really meant until a couple of years later.
That humans were inherently nice. Nah, never believed that.
I believed I was a degenerate for watching porn and masturbating.
I used to believe that most people are stupid.
So you now believe "everyone" is stupid ?
Here's the thing about the "people are stupid" belief: if most people actually were STUPID, then that would just be considered NORMAL.
"Stupid" really only has any meaning by comparison's sake. So, the person SAYING that most people (or hell, ALL PEOPLE) are stupid is implicitly saying that people are stupid compared to something else. Point being: if EVERYONE is stupid, then being stupid becomes just NORMAL and is no more of an insult or a negative trait than stating that we all have to eat or breathe. At that point, okay...it might be true, but someone who points that out is sort of like a mentally disabled man who goes around telling everyone that he just discovered that 2+2=4. It's the equivalent of telling someone the time and acting like you have some profound understanding of things.
Either that, or the person saying that people are stupid thinks that people are stupid compared to him. Which is probably true in some cases. I mean, if Stephen Hawking said that people are stupid, I'd be like, "okay, fair enough...you're Stephen Hawking, so you get to set yourself as the standard." My issue is...when people say that "people are stupid", USUALLY the one saying that people are stupid is no Stephen Hawking. It's usually more along the lines of a totally average person talking about how stupid people are after watching an episode of Jerry Springer.
Anyway, another thing that bothers me is how we like to make fun of "stupid" people. You know, to treat stupid people as something to laugh about. But how much sense does that make? I mean, there are actually people who are genuinely mentally retarded, but it has sort of become a faux pas to treat them like shit. You know, largely because they can't help it. It's sort of like how I wouldn't hold it against my dog because he isn't smart enough to file my taxes for me. It's not his fault. So why the hell has it somehow been acceptable to ridicule and laugh at people for being "stupid"? If they REALLY are stupid, then it's probably not within their control. And that makes it kind of like insulting a monkey or a dog. There's no satisfaction in that, you're just an asshole. No, if there's anyone who it should be okay to laugh at and ridicule, it should be smart (or average) people WHO DO STUPID THINGS. The difference being that these people freaking know better. But people who are GENUINELY stupid don't know better, that's precisely why they're stupid.
@MrGeezer: lol that was the longest reply I ever received during my time in GS community.
I read it, fully, and more than once, so I assure you I totally got your point. The question but remains: Do you now believe that all people are stupid, as it's a norm, like breathing and talking, OR, do you believe that no one is stupid ?
I remember when I was young I used to wonder about what punani felt like when you were inside..... it feels damn great! But my mind probably hyped it up way more probably

Uh, neither.
1) Again, saying that something is stupid implies that it is stupid compared to something else. So yeah, if there are indeed hyper-intelligent aliens somewhere in the universe, then all humans would be stupid compared to those aliens. Still, that's a pointless way to look at it. For starters, if no frame of reference is explicitly stated, then it's sort of implied that you're saying that something is stupid compared to others of the same type. For example: I could say "this dog is stupid." I didn't say what I was comparing that dog to, so it's sort of implied that I'm saying that the dog is stupid compared to other dogs. Similarly, saying that "all people are stupid", without specifying what I'm comparing people to, implies that I'm comparing people to people. And that makes no sense, because all people being stupid compared to other people is a logical impossibility. If (and that's a big if) I'm willing to accept that all people are stupid, then we have to specify what they're stupid compared to. And that's kind of hard to do, since we haven't definitively determined any species that ever lived to be smarter than us.
2) And I don't believe that no one is stupid, because some people are OBVIOUSLY stupid. Yes, some people are stupid just like some people are smart. That comes from the fact that our species includes a range of intelligences. Some people are gonna be near the top, some people are gonna be near the bottom. But compared to people in general, most people are neither smart nor stupid. They're just painfully average. Still, yes there are absolutely some stupid people out there.
I used to believe that being an adult would be really awesome.
I really wish I could go back to being a kid.
