I wonder why the Indian government would care. Even if culturally speaking homosexuality is frowned upon, I doubt many Indians would be aware of the inconsequential homosexual contents of the game. Besides if the romantic component of the game is anything like that of Mass Effect's then yea that's kind of daft.

Also TC, didn't you know that your use of the word gay in this context is considered offensive to gays and "intolerant"? Just saying seeing how you're dissatisfied with the decision and all.

Actually, it's gay talk.

They are one of the few countries in the world that recognize intersex people as a separate gender (the Hijra)... and they have a problem with homosexuality? Really?

Yeah, and i'm pretty impressed because India is pretty much one of the biggest markets for EA games.

The entire reason why they always put the entire Indian football league in every single FIFA game despite being one of the worst leagues of the planet.

Ironically they reinstated the anti-gay laws claiming that homosexuality is western culture, yet the anti gay laws were forced on them by the British empire. Nothing says independence better colonial law from 1860.

Well at least it doesn't have child rape. India has bigger problems than banning games, like cleaning up their fucking rivers of rotting dead people.

But that's difficult. Trampling on the rights of minorities and needlessly banning stuff makes it seem like you're actually doing something without actually doing anything of help at all.
