i would argue that that makes peoples more stupid. well not more stupid, but encourages to not become more smart. if you know how and where to find your answers it doesn't encourage you to think for yourself or even remember things. internet is mostly a very passive way to deal with knowledge and intelligence basically starts to depend on being online or not.
