I heard it does it automatically, and I would like to know, because I plan to put some stuff on my Bro's iPod but I fear that his songs might be overwritten with my own. Does anyone know if this actually happens, and if so, is there any way to prevent it?

Thanks.

Just make sure the iPod doesn't AutoSync when you plug it in. This can be changed in iTunes.
