Yeah, everyone does. That's why every time someone makes a "what is your IQ" thread here, somehow EVERYONE has significantly higher-than-average IQ.

Yeah, I think I'm smart. Just like how murderers and rapists like to think that their predicament is society's fault. and how ugly people keep telling themselves that the chicks dig them. Nobody likes to admit personal weakness, be it moral, physical, or intellectual.

idk, my grades in hs will say no. Also i think IQ is overrated. People are smart at their own things, you can't judge them by a number. Forest Gump was slow, but definitely not stupid....X360PS3AMD05

Go find the most stupid person you've ever met, and ask that person if he/she considers his/herself smart. There's at least an 80% chance that this person thinks he/she is smart, if for no other reason than that he/she is too stupid to know better.

I'm smarter than most, and I'm smart enough to stop once in awhile and observe situations from different views. Seems most people just ramble on about them, or things that interest just them, don't care about much else. I also like trying to understand everything about everything, ecpecially the universe. It really annoys me when people just don't care. I also like observing my own behavior, for example, if I'm acting like a dick I always try to correct myself and find out why. But what everyone does, they always exclude themselves from a bad thing. I'm a teenager, and most teenagers I know say how everyone is a bad driver but not them. I know I'm a bad driver, along with everyone else in the world.

Reasoning capacity could be covered by a need for attention through acting stupid.  

Self esteem takes more of a part of your question.

Also that person could be an awsome bowler. 

Whenever I take IQ tests I always score above average. One time beneath, but that was an exception.

But in general I just feel like an average Joe.
