I geuss I dislike the leadership and the corrupt politicians, but I don't hate every aspect of it.

Like I don't hate all the people who work in law enforcement/military/schools/library's ETC, just some of the leaders, but hey atleast i democracy bad leaders can't completely screw up the country.

But its not Democracy in perticular that makes American citizens free, its the limits the government has on the people.

Alot of people say that, but you sound like you know a bit more....

Well, you have to be realistic when you're looking at the United States. Of course they've done a lot of brutal and cruel things, but what nation has not? They're the world's only superpower and intend to keep it that way, by almost any means necessary...this is understandable.

I also understand why America invaded Iraq(....yes it was partly because of the petrodollar), and I'm not upset at all. Britain would have done the exact same thing if the pound sterling was threatened.

Well, we have been brutal, like with the Indians and Japanese, but not always, we do good stuff too, like humanitarian work. we could do more though.

We should put more of an emphasis on our European allies though, so we can be even more unstoppable!!

I'm an American and I'm the opposite. I like the government but dislike most of the people I've met. People act phony and get offended too easily in America. This country's people are baby whiners and everybody sues one another. The females are probably my biggest problem. Most of them wouldn't know culture if it hit them on the back side of the head. The ones who appear intelligent are actually just giving off a faux impressions and in reality, they are dumb as bricks. Every girl here has considerably boring interests as well...this is all the reason why I go to Montreal so frequently (every two months).

I'm not a fan of the current administration, that's for sure. And over the years, the whole political system has become corrupted and less and less democratic. But that's with any system of government; at the beginning, intentions are good, but as time goes on, the corruption becomes worse and worse.

Frankly, it's an ugly truth, but Americans need to confront the fact that their current craptacular government is a direct result of their own demands and continuously energy hungry economy. Why do you think most policitians are too afraid to bring up the issues of Peak Oil, inflation, and global warming? It's because everytime they do, they are shrugged off as "fearmongers". Nevermind the Conservative right's terrorist witchhunts.

Since the second world war, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Sam Adams, (Robert R.?) Livingston, and George Washington have all rolled over in their graves several times. They were afraid of too much power for the central govt. Look what America has become. They hated the English Empire. Look at the American "empire" with shops set up all over the world and franchises and brands people feel they need.

If our founding fathers were alive you know what they'd do? Start a revolution. Or die all over again.

The US Government's foreign policy is obviously the biggest reason for people to dislike them. The political system could do with some major reform too. Not that I'll go into details because then I'd be in "I don't know wtf I'm talking about" territory.

Eh...the only option that actually worded well is the second. The rest are just illogical generalizations.
