Oh man i've lived with this my entire life. I swear to god my first sheet of paper i got in kindergarten had "Colton" on it.

Its always "Colton" "Coltin" "Colten" "Kolton" "Kolten" "Koltin" Mostly just "Colton" though. I had like three sheets of papers teachers assigned to me today under "Colton"

I guess i've kind of gotten used to it. Though my name is spelled "Coltyn"

Everyone always puts dd in my surname when there is only one d. I just ignore it now.

People spell my last name wrong all the time, it is quite annoying.

I don't actually have that problem, but that that nobody seems to REMEMBER my name.

Having a name April, many of people seem to have a liking to call me with "June" "December" or with some other month's name. Haha. Very funny.

My name is spelled Chantel, but I always get Chantal, Chantelle, Chantalle, Shantel, Shental even. When I was a kid I had a best friend named Chantal with an A, and we went to the same preschool. We always got each other's "work" back.

My surname's English. I've been called Emma French, Emma German, Emma Spanish etc. I don't see why the chavs thought they were clever for working out my surname was a language and applying others in its place. Whenever someone shouted that at me in secondary school I was always like "Wow well done! I seriously haven't ever heard that one before" :roll:

It got to the point where I was going to change my surname to my mum's maiden name as she'd gone back to Edwards and me and my brother were still English. However I'm now glad I didn't because all my mates in 6th form think my name's really cool and I've even met a girl called Becky French! :D
