Do mods do sneaky bans?

Do you always get a message if you're banned? Or can a mod ban you without you knowing?

Mods aren't allowed to do bans (temporary or otherwise) without notifying you. They can, however, delete your comments without telling you.

Where are your comments not showing? Here or chat? Because in chat, if you post something with a link, the comment will not show until manually approved by a mod.

You guys know @SteamyPotatoes ? He was banned from livefyre without any warning recently.

I got banned 4 times... Only got two warnings.
