Do dreams ever have an effect on your day?

I sometimes have dreams in which are very disturbing and it can actually really affect my day to the point where I'm just quiet. I remember my dreams very well and they all really stand out. I do like having the good dreams though because they keep a smile on my face until someone ruins it at one point during the day. I am curious to as if I am the only person, does anyone else have similar experiences?

I have either mind****ingly weird dreams or incredibly boring dreams.

Generally no. But sometimes I have strings of very vivid nightmares recounting a particularly unpleasant phase in my past and when that goes down I hardly sleep or talk for days.

Years ago, a mate of mine skipped the first half of a day of school because he "had a bad dream". Needless to say, we all laughed at him for it.

Anyway, I never remember my dreams. Sadly.

Most only effect me for the first few minutes I woke up.

The only ones that last with me throughout the day are nightmares.

I had a weird experience last night.

I woke up (kind of), but I was still in sleep paralysis. As this was happening, I felt like I was actually floating up away from my body. Weird thing is I wasn't scared at all, and no scary shadow people trying to kill me or some of the other stuff I've heard people say they have with experiences like this. I was just like "hey...cool".

I've been telling people about it today, so I guess you could say it's having an effect on my day hmm.

i once had a dream back in highschool about this girl i that was in my class in the last year of primary school, the dream was beautiful we were a great couple and all that and such like a movie,

only thing being she had gone to another school and i hadnt seen her in 3 years so for some reason i ended up getting back in contact with her and asking her out,

We lasted a few months so to that dream i say thankyou for a wonderful time you introduced me to

also when your in a dream and you have to run do you feel like your legs are jelly and you cant remember how to run?

Sometimes, I generally tend to like someone better if I've had a good dream about them, I don't know why.
